* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Corson County in north central South Dakota…
Southwestern Campbell County in north central South Dakota…
Northwestern Walworth County in north central South Dakota…

* Until 800 PM CDT/700 PM MDT/.

* At 717 PM CDT/617 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near
Grand River Casino, or near Wakpala, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near…
Mobridge around 720 PM CDT.
Wakpala, Indian Memorial Rec Area, and Grand River Casino around
620 PM MDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Mound
City.

Instructions

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near the Missouri River, get away from the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
