Details
At 1111 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Greenbelt Lake, or 4 miles north of Clarendon, moving southeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Clarendon, Groom, Howardwick, Hedley, Lelia Lake, Greenbelt Lake, and
Goodnight.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 112 and 128.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
