Details

At 837 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Good Thunder, or 11 miles southwest of Mankato, moving northeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Good Thunder, Mapleton, Judson, Skyline, Minneopa State Park, North
Mankato, Pemberton, St. Clair, Mankato, Eagle Lake, Mankato Airport
and Madison Lake.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
