…The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Iowa River at Marshalltown affecting Marshall County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Iowa River at Marshalltown, or from Minerva Creek near
Albion to Timber Creek near Le Grand.

* WHEN…From late tonight to Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 19.0 feet, Water affects Iowa 14 north of the river as
well as Iowa 330 south of Albion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 18.8 feet, and rising.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tonight to a crest of 19.1 feet early tomorrow morning. It will
then fall below flood stage later tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
