…The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin…

Kickapoo River at La Farge affecting Richland and Vernon Counties.

Kickapoo River at Viola affecting Richland and Vernon Counties.

Kickapoo River at Readstown affecting Vernon County.

.Up to 4 inches of rain fell near Ontario Wisconsin overnight. This
rain routing downstream, combined with the additional precipitation
of around 1 inch will lead to minor flooding along the Kickapoo over
the next 24 hours.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Kickapoo River at Readstown.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 13.0 feet, Water is up to the bottom of the Charles
Street Bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:59 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.3 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 13.3 feet tomorrow evening. It will
then fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
