Southwestern Wilson County in southeastern Kansas…
Western Montgomery County in southeastern Kansas…
Northeastern Chautauqua County in southeastern Kansas…

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 453 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Elk City, or
14 miles northeast of Sedan, moving east to southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Independence, Neodesha, Dearing, Longton, Elk City, Bolton,
Sycamore, Hale, Buxton, Elk City Lake, Independence Airport, and
Elk City State Park.
