* At 757 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near New Boston to near Danville to near Hillsboro,
moving southeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Burlington, Macomb, Fort Madison, Monmouth, Oquawka, Nauvoo,
Bushnell, West Burlington, Burgess, La Harpe, Roseville, West
Point, Dallas City, Danville, Donnellson, Montrose, Stronghurst,
Kirkwood, Blandinsville, and Keithsburg.
This also includes Argyle Lake State Park, Big River State Forest,
Delabar State Park, Henderson County Conservation Area, and Nauvoo
State Park.
Instructions
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature’s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for west central
Illinois.
