Details

At 947 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking the leading edge of winds
from strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 3 miles
northwest of Duke to near Odell to 6 miles southeast of Medicine
Mound. Movement was east at 40 mph. Winds of 50 mph were measured
near Gould. Strong winds can occur before the storms themselves move
in.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Altus, Vernon, Quanah, Tipton, Blair, Chillicothe, Olustee, Eldorado,
Martha, Gould, Elmer, Headrick, Friendship, Altus Air Force Base,
Margaret, Warren, Lockett, Medicine Mound, Fargo, and Humphreys.
