At 815 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles east of Theodore Roosevelt National Park North Unit, or 21
miles southeast of Watford City, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Watford City, Killdeer, Dunn Center, Mandaree, Little Missouri State
Park, Oakdale, and Johnsons Corner.
