Details

At 931 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles south of Johnstown, or 16 miles southwest of Ainsworth, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hofeld Lake, Raven, Jones Lake, Moon Lake, Long Lake State Wildlife
Management Area, and Johnsons Corner.

This includes Highway 7 between mile markers 21 and 38.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
north central Nebraska.
