At 747 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Forest City, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Forest City, Lake Mills, Rice Lake, Thompson, Leland, Crystal Lake,
Woden, Scarville, Miller, Hayfield, Lake Mills Municipal Airport,
Pilot Knob State Park, Forest City Municipal Airport, Hogsback
Wildlife Area, and Rice Lake State Park.
