…The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Iowa River at Marengo affecting Iowa and Benton Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Iowa River at Marengo.

* WHEN…From Sunday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Extensive inundation of agricultural land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow
afternoon to 15.9 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then
fall early Wednesday morning. It will rise to 16.9 feet early
Friday afternoon. It will then fall again but remain above
flood stage.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
