The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Northeastern Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois…
Southwestern Whiteside County in northwestern Illinois…
Northeastern Scott County in east central Iowa…

* Until 915 AM CDT.

* At 838 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing a tornado
were located along a line extending from Low Moor to near
McCausland, moving southeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* These dangerous storms will be near…
Camanche, Port Byron, Princeton, Cordova, and Princeton Wildlife
Area around 845 AM CDT.
Hillsdale around 850 AM CDT.
Erie around 855 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these tornadic storms include Spring
