Counties.
* WHAT…Major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of
record.
* WHERE…Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S.
* WHEN…From Sunday morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS…At 13.0 feet, Water affects many residences along the
river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.6 feet and rising
rapidly.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 13.0 feet
Wednesday evening.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
Instructions
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
