* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northwestern Charles Mix County in south central South Dakota…
Gregory County in south central South Dakota…
Douglas County in south central South Dakota…

* Until 230 AM CDT.

* At 152 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 12 miles south of Gregory to near Naper to 10 miles
northeast of Stuart, moving northeast at 70 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Herrick around 155 AM CDT.
Gregory, Burke, Bonesteel, and St. Charles around 200 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Platte, Geddes and Lake Andes.

Instructions

should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
