The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Smith County in northeastern Texas…

* Until 200 PM CDT.

* At 109 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles east of
Lindale, or 11 miles north of Tyler, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Tyler, Lindale, Winona and Red Springs.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail. This storm has a history of producing large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
