…The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County.

Skunk River at Augusta affecting Des Moines, Henry IA and Lee
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…North Skunk River near Sigourney.

* WHEN…From this evening to Monday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage this evening to
20.2 feet Friday afternoon. It is expected to fall below flood
stage on Monday evening.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
